Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Flickjar.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Flickjar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Flickjar is a movie and TV show discovery and tracking application. We provide: • Personalized recommendations based on your taste profile • The ability to track movies and TV shows (watching, watchlist, watched) • Ratings and review functionality • Information about where to stream, rent, or buy titles • Push notifications for new recommendations and title availability Flickjar is a recommendation and tracking tool. We do not host, stream, or provide access to any movie or TV content.

3. Account Registration

To use Flickjar, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Providing accurate and current information • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. User Content

When you submit ratings, reviews, or other content through Flickjar, you: • Retain ownership of your content • Grant Flickjar a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and store your content for the purpose of operating the service • Agree not to submit content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or violates the rights of others We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Use the app for any illegal purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts • Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the app • Use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications • Impersonate any person or entity

6. Third-Party Content

Flickjar displays movie and TV show data provided by The Movie Database (TMDB), including titles, descriptions, posters, trailers, cast information, and streaming availability. This data is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about its accuracy or completeness. Streaming availability information is sourced from TMDB and JustWatch data. Actual availability may vary by region and is subject to change. Links to external services (YouTube for trailers, Google for showtimes, streaming platforms) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Flickjar app, including its design, code, logo, and original content, is owned by Flickjar and protected by intellectual property laws. Movie and TV show metadata, posters, and images are the property of their respective owners and are used under license from TMDB. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Flickjar without our written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of Flickjar is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Profile > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice.

10. Disclaimers

Flickjar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that: • The app will be available at all times without interruption • Recommendations will match your preferences perfectly • Streaming availability information will be accurate or up-to-date • The app will be free of errors or bugs Our recommendation algorithm provides suggestions based on available data and should not be the sole basis for purchasing or subscribing to streaming services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flickjar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice within the app. Your continued use of Flickjar after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
